Questions

How strong is the encryption?

AES-256, which is the strongest the PDF specification defines. The strength that matters in practice is your password, so choose a long one.

What if I forget the password?

The file is not recoverable — that is what encryption means. Store the password somewhere safe before you rely on the encrypted copy.

Bindery is free and always will be. There is no account, no upload and no paid tier — every tool runs in this tab, on your device.
